Board & Senior Manangement Team Minutes
The Departmental Board consists of the Department's two Deputy Secretaries, two Non-Executive Directors and is chaired by the Permanent Secretary. The Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services normally attend Board meetings. The purpose of the Departmental Board is to manage Departmental business at a strategic level and to discuss strategic, policy, financial, management and other issues. The Board meets on a monthly basis.
Meetings of the Senior Management Team (SMT) provide a collegiate forum of Directors and Deputy Secretaries under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary (Resources). Its role is to provide Directors with a regular opportunity for engagement and debate on corporate and other significant issues including policy development. The SMT meets on a monthly basis also.
