Professional Support Services Evaluation - Further Education

Evaluation of the delivery of professional support for Further Education and Training providers by the Learning Skills Development Agency Northern Ireland

The Department for Employment and Learning funds the delivery of professional support to Further Education and Training providers in Northern Ireland with the aim of improving quality in accordance with its strategy for “Success through Excellence”.  The current model of support provision, largely delivered through the Learning Skills Development Agency Northern Ireland (LSDA) (NI) or its associates, has been in existence for several years and has evolved significantly as the sector has gone through considerable transformation.

The LSDA (NI) provides advice and support to further education and training providers through tailored programmes of quality improvement where need is identified by the providers themselves, the Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) and/or the Department.  The LSDA (NI) provides a regional focus to enable providers to learn from others in the sector, and to disseminate good practice.

The Department is keen to obtain the views of providers on the quality of the services provided by LSDA(NI) and is therefore carrying out an evaluation exercise of the delivery of their services for the period 1st August 2010 to 31st March 2011 and we would be grateful if you could complete the attached questionnaire.
