Draft Skills Strategy for Northern Ireland

Summary:

The Department is consulting on a draft Skills Strategy for Northern Ireland which will ensure that the investment in learning and vocational training is consistent with the needs of the NI labour market. It is about changing the existing provision to ensure that the knowledge based economy is delivered. The change is consistent with a broad policy drive to increase the value of jobs in N I and to sustain recent economic performance.
