Access to Work (NI) - Equality Impact Assessment 2006

Summary:

The DEL Access to Work (NI) Programme aims to assist people with disabilities who are in paid employment, or with a job to start, by providing practical support and helping meet additional costs associated with overcoming work related obstacles resulting from disability.It is appropriate at this time of moving towards a more inclusive society that Government tests its polocies and programmes to ensure they are delivered impartially. This consultation document is an important part of this process and it is opportune therefore that an Equality Impact Assessment should be carried out now.The consultation runs from 1 February 2006 to 12 noon on 28 April 2006
