Training for Success

Summary:

The Training for Success: Professional and Technical Training consultation document outlined proposals for restructuring training provision for young people and adults in employment. Considerable interest was generated with some 1,200 copies of the Training for Success consultation document issued and at the close on 29 September over 120 separate responses had been received. The summary attached is the Department's analysis of all the responses. In early February 2007 the Department will announce the new Training for Success provision and how contracts for the separate strands will be tendered.
