Consultation on Employment Agencies Simplification Enforcement Consultation 2008

Summary:

This consultation on changes to employment law contains proposals to strengthen employment agency enforcement powers. The employment agency proposals seek to strengthen the Department for Employment and Learning’s ability to prosecute the small number of rogue agencies that abuse vulnerable workers and undermine the vast majority of reputable agencies. The consultation will take place between 2 June and 30 September 2008.
