Most of the resources in Measure 2.5 will support initiatives in secondary schools. However, a small portion of the funds will be available for infrastructure support to the voluntary and community sector delivering European Social Fund (ESF) funded training projects under Measures 2.1 , 2.2 , 2.3 , 2.6 and 2.8. In view of the modest scale of this resource no major capital projects will be supported.
The third and final call under measures 2.1 , 2.2 , 2.3 , 2.6 and 2.8 closed on 4 November 2005 for applications for projects running for 2 years from 2006. Measure 2.8 was reopened for a further and final period from Thursday 12th January to Friday 17th February 2006 for applications for projects running for 2 years from mid 2006. A final call for Measure 2.5 will follow in March 2006, for projects that were successful under the 3rd call only.
In a second call for projects under Measures 2.1 , 2.2 , 2.3 , 2.5 , 2.6 and 2.8 which closed on 31 October 2003 there were 62 ESF and 24 ERDF. These can be viewed in Successful Projects - 2nd call.
In a first call for projects under Measures 2.1 , 2.2 , 2.3 and 2.6 which closed on 31 December 2001 and under Measure 2.8 which closed on 1 March 2002, there were 69. These can be viewed in successful projects - 1st call.
