NI ESF Newsletter
Welcome to the second issue of the Northern Ireland ESF Review, this time in a new format – as an e-zine. We would appreciate your views on whether you prefer this format or the hard copy format in which we presented the first issue. We would like to thank all those ESF project managers and staff who responded to our requests for articles – we were very pleasantly surprised by the number of good news stories we received and by the accompanying photographs.
This issue will feature a number of articles from ESF projects which are working to support people with disabilities in their endeavours to access and progress in the labour market. In the current economic climate, it is encouraging to see such strident efforts being put into training and personal development in order to assist disabled people to overcome some of the barriers they face.

Our trawl for articles yielded over 30 responses and we will use these in future editions of the review. However there are 30 or more projects that have not yet responded to our requests for articles so we would encourage you to continue keeping us informed about developments with your project.
