Advertising Job Vacancies
You can phone, fax, email or visit your local office with details of the job/s you want to advertise.
Alternatively, you can place them directly onto www.employersonlineni.com
. All you have to do is register with the site. Our Online Support Team will create an account for you. When the vacancy has been approved you can receive and view completed job applications and CVs electronically. Our staff will advise you on the best way of presenting your vacancy details, which will be displayed on our website www.jobcentreonline.com
. The site attracts almost 60,000 visits each week. Your vacancies can be easily accessed through touch screen JobPoints located in each of our offices and by jobseekers around the world. We can also provide you with standard application forms or you can use your own.
Employment and Training Programmes
You could qualify for financial assistance if you are willing to help unemployed people who are not 'job ready' by providing them with opportunities to train to your specifications in your working environment, through participation in a range of employment and training programmes such as Steps to Work, New Deal, Training for Success
, Bridge to Employment. During this time you will have the benefit of assessing their abilities for permanent employment.
Disablement Advisory Service
DAS supports people with health conditions and disabilities. It provides a range of programmes to assist Departmental customers obtain and retain suitable employment. They can also advise on assistance available. The Occupational Psychology Service provides a comprehensive information and assessment service to assist people with disabilities and employers. Redundancies
Should a redundancy situation arise, we can come to your premises and provide your employees with information, advice and guidance on all aspects of jobsearch and further training for those who need new skills. We can also arrange for partner organisations to provide benefit advice and information on other issues of concern, at the same time.
The following additional help may be available to employers who are prepared to give special consideration to recruiting unemployed jobseekers.
Recruitment Events
We can arrange open day/evenings, where you can meet jobseekers to discuss job opportunities. We can create special promotional displays using materials that you have supplied to us.
Sifting Applications
We can help you by identifying a shortlist of potential candidates, using your vacancy criteria. You may find this particularly useful if you do not have a dedicated Human Resource facility.
