Am I eligible to apply for a Studentship Award?
Eligibility to apply for an award depends on meeting residence and academic requirements.
Residence Qualifications
For awards to study in Northern Ireland you must have been ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom (or elsewhere in the European Community for fees only awards) throughout the 3 year period immediately preceding the start of an award.
Academic Qualifications
You must expect to obtain in 2007 at least:-
- an upper second class honours degree; or
- a lower second class honours degree for awards to pursue a taught Masters course in Science and Technology (including Biology and Biotechnology, Particle Physics and Astronomy and Natural Environment).
Holders of the required qualifications obtained prior to 2006 are also eligible to apply.
