Write to the institutions about a place for study and application procedure for an award to support the study. |

Apply for a place at your chosen institution and complete an application form for an award. |

Ensure you have completed all necessary application forms to allow time for academic referees to complete and forward their reports with your application (if required). |

Closing date by which completed application forms must be received by: Economic and Social Research Council, The Arts and Humanities Research Board. Check with your chosen institution for the closing date for awards offered by the other Research Councils. |
