Requesting a free Information Pack

The Investors in People Information Pack sets out exactly what the Standard is all about. It identifies the evidences of good practice required of an organisation pursuing business improvement and recognition as an Investor in People. It explains what these mean in practice and gets you thinking about the opportunities you may have to improve your business. Requesting a free consultation

The NI Investors in People Centre provides a free consultation service to organisations wishing to know more about the Standard and its application to their organisation. The sessions are tailored to the individual needs of the organisation and are normally delivered on the employers premises. Lasting approx 1 hour, the session will explain exactly what the Standard is all about, the business benefits, how to get started and the assistance available to those wishing to use the Standard as a business improvement tool. Options through which to pursue recognition as an Investor in People:

Do it yourself - no cost!

The option chosen by the vast majority of organisations because they feel they have the necessary understanding of what is required and the capacity and commitment to undertake their Investors in People journey without external input. This option is supported by the NI Investors in People Centre with the provision of a free 'How to become...' employer toolkit that guides and mentors the organisation through the entire process.

Use a Registered Investors in People Adviser

The option chosen by those organisations who feel the need for or simply want support from an external facilitator and have the financial resources to secure it. This option is supported by the NI Investors in People Centre through the provision of a list of registered, quality assured NI Advisers who possess the knowledge, background and experience to assist organisations on their journey to Investor in People recognition. Adviser support is normally charged at £350 per day.

Work with other organisations facilitated by a Registered Adviser

The option for those organisations who would like the support offered by an Adviser but don’t have the financial resources to contract one directly. In this situation the organisation joins with others in a group facilitated by a registered Adviser. The Adviser provides the full range of support services to each participating organisation on and off site but has their costs subsidised by the NI Investors in People Centre.

Interactive

Interactive is a free online business support tool designed to guide you through development activities and help transform your performance. Built into the tool is a diagnostic that will give you a snapshot of how your current performance measures up to the Investors in People Standard.
