Small Employer Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employers’ commitment to training and development and how this is creating impact and achieving success. Employers entering this category should employ up to 49 employees.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • The organisation, teams and individual needs are clearly defined and measured
  • The learning and development activity is fit for purpose and resources are used effectively and efficiently
  • The delivery of learning and development activities benefits employers, individuals and/or society
  • The improved individual and team performance is maintained

Medium Employer Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employers’ commitment to training and development and how this is creating impact and achieving success. Employers entering this category should employ between 50 - 249 employees.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • The organisation, teams and individual needs are clearly defined and measured
  • The learning and development activity is fit for purpose and resources are used effectively and efficiently
  • The delivery of learning and development activities benefits employers, individuals and/or society
  • The improved individual and team performance is maintained

Large Employer Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employers’ commitment to training and development and how this is creating impact and achieving success. Employers entering this category should employ over 250 employees.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • The organisation, teams and individual needs are clearly defined and measured
  • The learning and development activity is fit for purpose and resources are used effectively and efficiently
  • The delivery of learning and development activities benefits employers, individuals and/or society
  • The improved individual and team performance is maintained

Partnership and Collaboration Award

This award is aimed at two or more organisations working together to design and deliver learning. The award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate collaboration in practice and the achievement of success.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • The organisation, teams and individual needs are clearly defined and measured
  • The learning and development activity is fit for purpose and resources are used effectively and efficiently
  • The delivery of learning and development activities benefits employers, individuals and/or society
  • The improved individual and team performance is maintained
  • The organisations can illustrate how the collaboration works and measure the benefits of working collaboratively

Providing Education and Training Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an education and training provider’s commitment to offering a quality training and development service and how this is creating impact and achieving success.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • The organisation, teams and individual needs are clearly defined and measured
  • The design and delivery of the programme is responsive, adaptable and efficiently resourced, directly meeting the needs of the client and/or individual learner
  • The delivery of learning and development activities benefits employers, individuals and/or society
  • The improved individual and team performance is maintained

Individual Award

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an individual’s commitment to training and development, where the learning has directly benefited others in the workplace, community or the individual’s personal life.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • The individual demonstrates a commitment to applying their learning and development and to continually improving their performance
  • The individual demonstrates how and why their skill as well as knowledge base has been improved
  • Clear examples of how the employer and or the community have benefited from this level of improved performance
