New changes to NTA in 2008

NTA came of age in 2007 when it turned 21. To reflect this, your feedback and the needs of a 21st century economy and society, NTA will unveil a new look in 2008.

  • We will still recognise and reward the very best in UK training.
  • We will still retain the Awards successful and robust Judging process.
  • We will still celebrate winners at a regional and national level.

We are introducing a competition element (at both regional and national level). We will introduce 6 Award categories where we will award a maximum of 1 UK National Training Award winner per category and an unlimited number of Regional Award winners at the regional award ceremonies.

All UK National Training Award winners will then go through to the UK final where there will be one Winner of the Year in each category.

If you win a UK National Training Award you will be one of a maximum of 12 winners per category across the UK.

If you win a ‘Winner of the Year’ you will be one of only 6 winners across the UK.

If you are a finalist we may ask for evidence to support your entry, thus simplifying the entry process.

The new award categories will be:

  • Individual Award
  • Partnership and Collaboration Award
  • Large Employer Award
  • Medium Employer Award
  • Small Employer Award
  • Providing education and training Award
