NTA Competition Calendar

January - April 2010: Entry Period

• 26 January: Launch of 2010 National Training Awards competition. Information Seminars will take place throughout February in various locations.
• Call for entries begins.
• Opportunities will be available to discuss your entry with an NTA Ambassador (previous NTA winners).
• Deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 23 April 2010

May - June 2010

• Assessors study all entries against the learning framework and select entries to go forward to the first round of judging.

June – August 2010

• 1st meeting of judging panel takes place. Entrants are selected for on site visits.
• Northern Ireland judging panel make on site visits and select regional finalists
• 2^nd meeting of judging panel takes place. Final decision is made on regional and UK finalists.

September 2010

• The UK panel of judges meet to select the National Training Awards winners

Tuesday 12 October 2010-

• Northern Ireland Gala Award Ceremony - venue to be confirmed.

December 2010

• UK National Ceremony, London.
