Mike spent the early part of his career researching aspects of physical chemistry before moving into education through teaching and lecturing. For the past 15 years Mike has run his own consultancy focussed on training and community regeneration. His involvement and enthusiasm for NTA goes back some 19 years as a former winner, a judge and provider of various forms of entrant support.  At the  NTA Belfast Information seminars, Mike will discuss the NTA entry process, hints and tips on writing a successful entry and help others gain some of the benefits of becoming an NTA winner. As he says I’d like many more people and Institutions to have what they are doing recognised & realise the huge benefits from entering and winning an Award."  Mike Postle studied chemistry at Sheffield university and continued doing a PhD there and at St Andrews University.
