What are the benefits?

Entering the National Training Awards brings enormous benefits to both organisations and individuals.

• A systematic process of reviewing your training practices and measuring its effectiveness.
• The opportunity through the entry process to discuss and evaluate your training and development.
• Personalised feedback from assessors and judges on entries, whether you are a winner or not. If you are unsuccessful this feedback can be used as the basis for a future entry. If successful it can be used to further review, evaluate and improve your training processes.
• Heightened profile and publicity. The Department’s Press Office will assist by organising event photography, drafting press releases and advising on where and when these should be issued.
• Raised levels of morale among employees and those responsible for delivering the training.

All winners attend the gala awards ceremony. Attendance at the ceremony is an opportunity to reward staff for their achievements, to enjoy the atmosphere of the event and meet celebrities such as last year's compére Jenni Falconer.
