Golden opportunity for local jobseekers

A major Jobs Fair is being held in Derry on Thursday 3 May.
The event is taking place in the Millennium Forum between 10am and 4pm and offers jobseekers in the North West the opportunity to meet with employers who have vacancies to fill.
District Manager Damian McAdams from the Department for Employment and Learning, who are hosting the event, explains: “This event has already generated considerable interest amongst employers, both North and South, with 30 already committed to attending. Many sectors are being represented on the day, including retail, call centres, business administration, hospitality and construction.
“The concept of the day is simple. All employers will be under one roof and unemployed jobseekers will have the opportunity to talk to them about current live vacancies and terms and conditions of employment.”
