Minister announces appointment to Northern Regional College Governing Body

Employment and Learning Minister, Sir Reg Empey, has announced the appointment of Mr Ivan Goldsworthy to the governing body of Northern Regional College.

Mr Goldsworthyis currently a Skills Adviser with TWL Training Limited and is a community safety warden with Limavady Borough Council promoting crime prevention.  He has worked at a senior level in the Public Service with experience in strategic planning and operational delivery of services.  Mr Goldsworthy does not hold any other public appointments.

The governing body of Northern Regional College is responsible for securing the efficient and effective management of the college, agreeing and monitoring its strategic direction, appointing the college’s senior staff and ensuring that the college acts as a responsible employer. The appointment is for a period of four years from 15 June 2010 to 14 June 2014. The position is not remunerated.
