New Deal Statistical Bulletins published

Since its launch in April 1998, over 144,000 participants have started the New Deal programme across Northern Ireland.
The latest statistics from the Department for Employment and Learning were released today.
The following statistical bulletins were published:
1. New Deal for 18 to 24 Year Olds in Northern Ireland: Statistics from April 1998 to June 2007. The bulletin indicates that since its launch in April 1998 to June 2007, there have been 68,735 participants on this programme.
2. New Deal 25+ in Northern Ireland: Statistics from June 1998 to June 2007. This bulletin indicates that since its launch in June 1998 to June 2007, there have been 75,320 participants on this programme.

Readers should note that some figures in Sections 4 and 5 of both Bulletins have been revised. More detail of these revisions can be viewed on page 7 of each Bulletin.
