Invitation to tender for the delivery of New Deal for Disabled People in Northern Ireland

Ref. F 14720 05 / DEL New Deal for Disabled People – Framework Agreement for the Delivery of Job Broking Services
Supplies and Services Division, Central Procurement Directorate (CPD), on behalf of its client, the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL), intends to award a framework agreement for the delivery of the New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP) programme to facilitate the employment needs of people with disabilities. The framework agreement will be awarded for an initial period of two years, but with the written agreement of both parties may be extended for a further 2 years (on an annual basis).
The Department invites tenders from organisations across Northern Ireland, for the management and delivery of the New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP), Job Broking Service, in three regions within NI:
Belfast Region
Andersonstown, Falls, Lisburn, Holywood Road, Knockbreda, Shaftesbury Square, Belfast North, Newtownabbey and Shankill Road.
Northern Region
Foyle, Lisnagelvin, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Limavady, Antrim, Strabane, Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne.
Southern Region
Cookstown, Dungannon, Magherafelt, Omagh, Armagh, Enniskillen, Lurgan, Newry, Portadown, Ballynahinch, Banbridge, Bangor, Downpatrick, Kilkeel, Newcastle and Newtownards.
NDDP is designed to support people on disability and health-related benefits to move into lasting, paid employment. The programme was introduced in 2001. NDDP assists people in Northern Ireland with a disability or long term illness, who are in receipt of qualifying benefits. NDDP is an employment programme designed to meet the needs of those clients who are deemed to be job ready or almost job ready. NDDP aims to help people on health related benefits to move out of economic inactivity and into lasting employment, if that is what they wish to do.
