Larne company celebrates 21 year contibution to employment

Employment and Learning Minister, Sir Reg Empey, has pledged to support a Larne company in helping to retain jobs in the town. The Minister was attending the 21st anniversary of Larne Community Enterprises Ltd (LCE Ltd) and commended the organisation on its contribution to training and employment initiatives over that time.
Sir Reg said: “Larne Community Enterprises has worked closely with my Department to develop and deliver local initiatives in the Larne area. We continually seek to improve our services to jobseekers and the introduction of new initiatives such as the Steps to Wok programme and ApprenticeshipsNI are helping people to find and retain employment across Northern Ireland.”
The Minister assured LCE that in these challenging times, his department and the Northern Ireland Executive were working tirelessly to assist jobseekers in finding work and with employers to find the right people with skills and qualifications to meet their needs.
