Summary:

The Departmental response to a public consultation on dispute resolution and tribunal reform analyses the views submitted by interested parties and sets out Departmental legislative proposals. The Department for Employment and Learning (DEL), following careful consideration of feedback received after public consultation, has decided to introduce measures that aim to encourage the resolution of disputes in the workplace or by conciliation, and reduce the caseload faced by Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal.
