Union learning representatives Departmental response to public consultation

Summary:

The Departmental response to a public consultation on statutory backing for trade union learning representatives analyses the views submitted by interested parties and sets out Departmental proposals to legislate for change in this area. The Departments paper sought views on the current status of union learning representatives (ULRs), who do not at present enjoy the same rights as other trade union workplace representatives. There is evidence that this is creating a barrier to their effective workingDEL would like to thank respondees for their constructive feedback, which has been carefully considered.
