Role of the Statutory Further Education Sector

Summary:

The Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) is considering its strategy for the statutory Further Education (FE) sector. Given the importance of this sector in the social and economic fabric of Northern Ireland it will consult widely on the different elements of the strategy. The first area of consideration, which will underpin the rest of the study, is the role of the statutory FE sector. The consultation period will last from November 5 until 10 January 2003.
