Equality Impact Assessment - Labour Market Intermediaries

Summary:

In line with the Department for Employment and learning’s Equality Scheme, an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) of its Labour Market Intermediary projects was initiated in June 2004 when a consultation document was issued to a wide range of organisations representing the interests of the nine groups identified in Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.The enclosed report details the responses to that document and outlines the mitigation measures the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) has introduced/intends to introduce to counteract any adverse impacts current Labour Market Intermediary policy may have on any of the Section 75 Groups.
