Labour Market Trends on the island of Ireland

Summary:

The story of the Irish Labour Market, North and South, over the past decade or so. This is a story of great achievement – both labour markets have been very successful over the past ten years, as we hope to show – but also of great challenge over the coming years as we strive to ensure that Ireland, South and North, have labour markets that are responsive to changing global economic conditions. We also need to address longstanding deficits in our workforces. The successes of the past decade should not blind us to these deficits.
