A Guide to North Carolina’s Successful Bioscience Workforce and Economic Development Initiative

Summary:

This report, prepared for the Department, by H Martin Lancaster and Susan A Seymour was completed in September 2010. The guide focuses on the development and implementation of the internationally acclaimed, North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) BioNetwork Initiative and the collaborative Bioscience Industry/NCCCS/University, NC BioImpact initiative. This practical guide explains how the BioNetwork Initiative was planned and implemented. It also provides a generic route-map for how a similar approach could be applied in any sector in Northern Ireland.
