Reform and Relicensing of Sector Skills Councils

Summary:

SSCs are about to go through a rigorous process to determine whether their license from the UK Government and the devolved administrations should be renewed.The relicensing process is one of the top priorities for the UK Commission in their first year of operation and several principles underpin this approach. High standards have been set for all SSCs and continuous improvement is expected year on year. The relicensing process will be transparent and fair, building on and recognising good practice developed over the last five years.
