Northern Ireland Student Income and Expenditure Survey 2004/05

Summary:

This report was conducted jointly by a research team from the Institute for Employment Studies and the National Centre for Social Research (IES/NatCen). The survey is based on Northern Ireland domiciled higher education students at Northern Ireland institutions. It used a representative sample of both full-time and part-time students on designated undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the academic year 2004/05 to collect detailed data on students’ financial position and how this differs depending on students’ background and circumstances.
