C'Mon Over -  Are you an employer ?

Are you an employer who is looking to recruit suitably skilled graduates to your organisation?

Do you have current vacancies at graduate or executive level?

If the answer is 'Yes' then the 'C'Mon Over' Campaign can help you.

The Campaign strives to highlight the employment opportunities available in Northern Ireland to those people living outside Northern Ireland with the skills we need.

You can also join us on Facebook external link and become involved in the discussions and post your vacancies and recruitment information.

Support for the campaign has been excellent and feedback has been very positive.

"I found the fairs invaluable and we reached an audience we had not previously tapped into. It was an excellent tool for gaining recognition for our global brand but also an opportunity to talk about opportunities at our Belfast engineering centre.  Students responded well to the fact that there were such exciting opportunities in the Northern Ireland marketplace and were keen to learn more." (Helena Woodward, NYSE Euronext)

"BT were delighted to have been able to participate in the Graduate Recruitment Fairs as this gave us the opportunity to showcase BT.  Our team spoke with a number of students wishing to move or return home to Northern Ireland and others who would like to move over from abroad."  (Joan Larkin, BT)

"Abacus Professional Recruitment was immediately keen to contribute with the Department for Employment and Learning once we found out about the unique 'C'Mon Over' Campaign.  We felt it was a challenging but very innovative exercise and we decided to invest some of our team to attend the fairs.  The events turned out to be excellent and elevated us to a wider platform." ( Alan Braithwaite, Abacus Professional Recruitment)

"It was great to have the opportunity to represent Northern Ireland at the Fairs.  I was able to highlight the benefits of living and working in such a dynamic, vibrant and ever growing city.  Northern Ireland is a fantastic destination to live and work.  There are many excellent opportunities for graduates working on challenging projects and offering excellent benefits.  It is an exciting time!"  (Clare Sinanan, Blueprint Appointments)

In the current economic climate we are mindful that recruitment may not be a priority.  There are however skill gaps in some sectors and therefore 'C'mon Over' can help.  If you need help then please email us at cmonoverni@delni.gov.uk. external link
