Transport
Northern Ireland is accessible via air and sea with harbours in Belfast and Larne servicing Stena Line, Norfolkline and P&O Irish ferries and the three airports all attracting many tourists, visitors and business travellers on a daily basis. Many of the main airlines operate out of Belfast International Airport and the George Best City Airport with the smaller City of Derry Airport servicing the North West region.
Translink is the main bus and rail operator in Northern Ireland with many routes accessible by train from stations throughout Northern Ireland. Ulsterbus operates bus routes within the main towns and cities whilst the Metro service is available in the areas that surround Belfast City Centre. Aside from bus and rail, many taxi firms operate in and out of most towns and cities. Information on routes and timetables can be found at the Translink website. ![]()
