Connections
Connections is a new 3-year programme which aims to help small businesses plan for and achieve responsible growth. The programme provides mentoring and support to SMEs by bringing together owner-managers of small businesses with in-house experts from larger companies to help address specific development issues. Mentors work with the owner-managers and their teams on a voluntary basis for a total of 12-15 hours on areas such as:
- Marketing & sales
- Financial planning and procedures
- Business & strategic planning
- Staff recruitment & management
- New product development
- Environmental best practice
- Export marketing & trade development
