Intro Management Development Programme
INTRO is a Management Development initiative that builds on the successes of the Premiere programme, providing quality employment for graduates. It shapes managers for the future by equipping participants with a broad perspective on management and business, whilst providing value and a measurable return on investment for the employers. The Department provides bursary support towards the training costs of up to £2,500 for each participant.
Aim
INTRO is designed to improve the key management and leadership skills of graduates and thereby enhance their “managerial job readiness”. Participants achieve and sustain quality graduate level employment which enhances levels of business performance and improved competitiveness.
Course Content
The 24 week programme includes an initial 4 weeks off-the-job classroom training followed by a 20 week Business Improvement project/PDP with an employer. Those taking part also work to complete the Advanced Diploma in Management Practice.
Eligibility
The programme is open to graduates from all disciplines at HND/degree level who are European Union Nationals. In addition those graduates who are in position with a participating employer should have been in its employment within 12 months of applying for INTRO. Previous participants of Premiere and Graduate Management Internship Programme are not eligible to apply.
