Northern Ireland has been developing the arena of skills competition. There are local skills competitions and Northern Ireland competitors have also been successful on the international stage at Worldskills competitions.
Worldskills UK
WorldSkills UK is a portfolio of skills competition activity managed by the National Apprenticeship Service in partnership with organisations from industry and education.
Worldskills Leipzig 2013
WorldSkills, the skills equivalent of the Olympics, is the largest international vocational skills competition and will be held in Leipzig in Germany from 3 to 6 July this year.
