The role of a WorldSkills UK Champion

A champion is appointed by the National Apprenticeship Services with the aim of:

  • encouraging organisations to get involved in competitions
  • raising the levels of skills and the aspirations of young people
  • increasing the number of people participating in WorldSkills UK competitions in order to grow talent for WorldSkills competitions.
