DEL Research Agenda
DEL Research Agenda
The Department for Employment and Learning implemented a new strategic approach to commissioning research through its Research Agenda 2004-2007 to reinforce its commitment to evidence based policy formation and development.
With the final few projects completing towards the end of 2010 the Department is currently undertaking an evaluation of its Research Agenda 2007-09. The primary role of the evaluation is to determine the extent to which the Department's research strategy continues to be relevant in terms of policy/service delivery impact across the Department. The evaluation will be completed and published summer 2011.
The Department has produced a Research Stock Take paper which sets out the research the Department is currently taking forward or plans to initiate in the interim period to cover the period up to 2011/12, rolling forward from the previous Research Agenda 2007-09.'
Published Research
The Department has previously commissioned research in a number of areas and copies of research summaries and full reports from completed projects can be accessed from the Research Reports page.
The Current Pojects page provides further detail on live projects.
Quarterly Research Review
The Department monitors recently published research that has relevance to the work of the Department and, each quarter, produces a list of that work for wider dissemination. Access the Quarterly Research Reviews page for further detail.
